About the Operations Manager position

you will play a crucial role in capturing panoramic imagery of streets, roads, and other public spaces using specialized equipment and technology. You will be responsible for driving designated routes, operating camera equipment, and collecting street-level imagery to contribute to our comprehensive street view database.

Operations Manager responsibilities are:

  • Street View Data Collection: Drive assigned routes in designated areas while operating specialized camera equipment to capture high-quality panoramic imagery of streets, roads, and public spaces.
  • Equipment Operation: Ensure the proper setup, calibration, and operation of camera equipment, including 360-degree cameras, GPS devices, and other sensors, to capture accurate and consistent street view imagery.
  • Route Planning and Navigation: Plan and navigate designated routes using GPS and mapping tools to ensure thorough coverage of targeted areas while adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks and inspections of captured imagery to ensure adherence to quality standards, including image clarity, alignment, and coverage of designated areas.
  • Data Management: Transfer captured imagery and associated metadata to designated storage systems or servers for processing, analysis, and integration into our street view database.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, traffic regulations, and company policies while driving and operating camera equipment to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

Operations Manager requirements are:

  • 3 years of experience in operation management and experience in photography, videography, or related field.
  • Proficiency in operating camera equipment and technology, including 360-degree cameras, GPS devices, and imaging software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in image capture.
  • Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with mapping tools and GPS navigation systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
